HIVED expands into electric haulage

At HIVED, we’ve always believed that parcel delivery, and the infrastructure behind it, needs a radical rethink. From day one, we set out to build something better: the UK’s first fully electric parcel delivery network, combining tailpipe emission-free transport with reliable, high-quality delivery service.

Now, we’re taking that same energy and growing our service options. By leveraging our middle-mile electric HGV fleet, already used to power the backend of our parcel delivery network for some of the UK’s best ecommerce brands, we’re expanding our service offering to include electric haulage and long-distance transportation. This move allows us to connect cities and distribution hubs across the UK using fully electric vehicles, and continuing to set new standards for sustainable transport at scale.

End-to-end electric trunking

What makes this possible is our growing investment in heavy-duty electric vehicles. Our fleet now includes 11 brand-new Mercedes-Benz eActros trucks and will grow exponentially this year and through 2026 to become the UK’s largest fleet of eHGVs, designed specifically for long-haul operations. These electric HGVs are built to handle the demands of modern logistics without compromising on performance, reliability, or service quality.

Electric vehicles come with long-term advantages: lower maintenance costs, optimised route planning, and quieter, cleaner operations. We’re using the latest EV technology to maximise efficiency for our partners while maintaining our uncompromising service quality standards.

With these trucks now available for trunking within the haulage market, we’re creating a better alternative for freight movement that aligns with the climate commitments of UK businesses.

Our middle-mile operations have already proven that electric logistics can scale, now we’re applying that same model to routes that were traditionally dominated by diesel. Whether it’s full trunking routes or bespoke transport needs, HIVED is bringing an all-electric option to the table.
