HIVED launches driver tipping

We’re excited to share the latest in HIVED’s product features: driver tipping! Now, anyone receiving a HIVED delivery can leave a discretionary tip for the HIVED delivery team when they go above and beyond.

HIVED is building the most-loved parcel delivery service at scale, setting the highest quality bar in the delivery industry alongside operating a 100% electric fleet. The HIVED delivery team plays an incredibly important role in making the quality difference and ensuring that the most crucial point of the final mile — the delivery itself — goes smoothly and reliably for customers.

Tips function to reward drivers for use cases in which they go above and beyond with a delivery, and drivers receive the entirety of the tip value. For instance, a driver might reach out to a customer with a difficult-to-find address and ensure the delivery goes as planned, or support carrying heavier parcels all the way to someone’s door in a building with a front desk. These are all examples of what the HIVED delivery team is already doing on a daily basis; the tipping feature is designed to further acknowledge their great work.
